Message from the President of the Organizing Committee

Dear Colleagues,

The Scientific Department of Pediatric Physical Therapy of the Panhellenic Association of Physical Therapists is organizing a Scientific Conference at the Interbalkan Medical Center in Thessaloniki, titled "Advancements/Challenges in Pediatric Physical Therapy, Innovations and Emerging Trends," on June 29th & 30th, 2024.

We are pleased to invite you to the 1st Scientific Conference of Pediatric Physical Therapy from June 29th to 30th, 2024, in Thessaloniki, with the theme "Advancements in Pediatric Physical Therapy, Innovations, and Emerging Trends."

The modern political, social, humanitarian, and cultural conditions shaping a dynamically evolving and rapidly changing reality in the field of Physical Therapy. Pediatric Physical Therapy, through the exchange of experiences, fruitful reflection, and creative dialogue, can play a leading role and respond to contemporary challenges.

Conference Objectives

The organization of this event aims to bring together pediatric physical therapists, occupational therapists, speech therapists, doctors, professionals, and researchers from across Greece. We hope it will serve as a platform for knowledge exchange, networking, and collaboration, promoting pioneering developments in the field of Pediatric Physical Therapy. Distinguished Greek and foreign speakers will present emerging trends, innovative techniques, and practices based on research data.

The dissemination of contemporary scientific positions and research data, as well as the presentation/promotion of innovative practices, ultimately aims to contribute to shaping proposals for new trends in Pediatric Physical Therapy.

As part of the conference activities, "hands-on" practical workshops and panel discussions will be held to promote active participation in various topics such as advancements in pediatric physical therapy, developmental delay, neurological physical therapy, cerebral palsy, physical therapy in adolescents, pediatric orthopedics, and many others.
